I have agent orange prostate cancer as a result of service in Vietnam. I was diagnosed in Nov. of 2011 and elected active surveillance then and has not progressed since then. I filled for compensation in June of 2019 and was awarded 100% compensation. My question is does the services connected disability for the 5 10 20 year rule begin when I was diagnosed or when I was awarded the service disability?
